Dr. Ray Thomason graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed post-graduate medical education in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology/Hepatology at the University of Utah. He has been involved in Transplant Hepatology in Utah since 1986. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Transplant Hepatology.His main clinical and research interests include the management of chronic viral hepatitis, non-alcoholic liver disease and liver transplantation. He has published articles on these and other topics.Dr. Thomason joined the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Utah School of Medicine in 2013 as Assistant Professor of Medicine where he primarily functions in Transplant Hepatology.
