Matthew S. Walker, MD, received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his residency at Baton Rouge General Family Medicine Program in Baton Rouge, La. He is Board Certified in family medicine. He treats common cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal and psychiatric disorders including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, COPD, anxiety and depression. Dr. Walker treats adults, adolescents and children beginning at age 5 years. Dr. Walker purused medicine because it allows him to counsel patients in a way that leads to personal health and wellness physically, mentally and emotionally.
