Mijn naam is Jack Jongejan, ik ben fysiotherapeut & sportfysiotherapeut. Ik ben sinds 1991 werkzaam als fysiotherapeut en ben sinds 1995 zelfstandig met mijn praktijk voor Fysiotherapie & Sport-fysiotherapie.Als fysiotherapeut behandel ik veel hardlopers, fietsers, triatleten en schaatsers. Daarnaast heb ik sinds de start van de praktijk ook veelvuldig met bal- en team sporters ervaring kunnen opdoen.
Naast sportbeoefenaars behandel ik binnen mijn praktijk een ieder met klachten aan spieren, pezen en gewrichten oftewel het menselijk ‘bewegingsapparaat’.
Spanningsklachten zijn ook veelvuldig terugkomende klachten in onze ‘snelle’ maatschappij. Spanningen leiden tot hoofdpijn, hyperventilatie maar ook nek/schouderklachten. Deze klachten heb ik de loop der jaren bij jong en oud in toenemende mate voorbij zien komen. Door deze toename heb ik mij hier verder met goede resultaten kunnen specialiseren.
Bij de behandelingen van mensen met klachten c.q. patiënten maak ik met de patiënt de afspraak dat deze gedurende de behandelperiode een actieve rol aanneemt. Zodoende kan ik als behandelaar samen met de patiënt werken aan een zo spoedig mogelijk herstel. Hij/zij wordt dan voorzien van adviezen, oefentherapie, huiswerkoefeningen of een combinatie van deze drie met als doel het herstel te bespoedigen.
Rust kan ook een onderdeel zijn van de behandeling maar zal dan in de meeste gevallen wel bestaan uit Actieve-rust. Dat wil zeggen dat de behandelingen in de praktijk dan worden aangevuld met adviezen en oefeningen. Dit in het kader van ‘Rust Roest’.
Hoewel ik in de praktijk de beschikking heb over apparaten, ter bevordering van het herstel, ben ik van mening dat de meest effectieve vorm van fysiotherapie toch voornamelijk uit ‘handwerk’ bestaat. Met dit handwerk gecombineerd met oefentherapie en aangevuld met adviezen streef ik daarmee naar een voorspoedig herstel en zo een zo kort mogelijke behandelperiode.
