Summary: Plan, direct, or coordinate the activities of buyers, purchasing officers, and related workers involved in purchasing materials, products, and services. 1. Collate purchase orders and purchase requisitions in order to order materials, goods and supplies. 2. Send them to the suppliers. 3. Review inventories and order as required. 4. Interact with the suppliers on a day to day basis. 5. Review deliveries against the orders. 6. Track the status of any orders. 7. Deal with non supplied, under orders, over orders and damaged goods. 8. Ensure that any invoices are sent to accounts for payment. 9. Produce and maintain all reports. 10. Control purchasing department budgets. Male / female Single / married College graduate of any business related course With at least 6 months to 1 year working experience as purchaser/buyer Knowledge in supermarket products and inventory Willing to undergo on training Can deal and transact with different types of people Can work under pressure Can work beyond 8 hours Responsible and can be trusted With good moral character and good attitude is a plus
