As envisioned 30 years ago, The Optical Shop Incorporated, a definitive name in the eyewear and eye care industry, began its pioneering concept of a one-stop eyewear center in 1986 with eye care service sales and fashion center, all under one roof. First popularized in the US, the local prime movers behind this innovative endeavor are Dr. Gil E. Divinagracia, a well-known Optometrist; Dr. Noel Santos, another Optometrist; and their friend, Engr. Cesar Mercado. The Optical Shop was borne in response to the growing public need for the convenience of getting all their optical products in just one place.
