Mein Name ist Andrea Maurer und seit dem 1. Juli 2019 bin ich die neue Besitzerin vom Armo-Store in Horgen. Kleidergrössen sind für mich ein Richtwert, der nichts mit der Schönheit der Frau zu tun hat. Bei mir darf Frau sich selber neu entdecken, andere Looks ausprobieren, mit Farben und Formen experimentieren. Im Vordergrund steht immer die Freude und das Wohlgefühl. Wir brechen (modische) Regeln, seien sie mutig…treten sie aus ihrem eigenen Schatten. Und haben sie dabei ganz viel Spass. Bringen sie die Kleider aus ihrem Schrank mit und wir geben alten Stücken wieder Pep, indem wir sie ihrem Gusto entsprechend neu kombinieren.Das Sortiment ist vielfältig…angenehmen Materialien…Farben, die gute Laune verbreiten…aktuelle Mode kombiniert mit Klassikern. Mein sozialer Schwerpunkt zeigt sich noch immer in der Auswahl der Kleider, Taschen und Accessoires. Wo immer möglich schaue ich darauf, dass in Europa produziert wird und so die Transportwege kurz sind. Wenn die Ware in Übersee produziert wird, ist dafür das Produkt sehr hochwertig und die gerechte Entlohnung der Mitarbeiter garantiert. Bei Kuna, Komana und Freiform kenne ich die Firmenbesitzer jeweils persönlich. Wo immer möglich achte ich darauf Naturmaterialien einzukaufen. Doch, da die Allergien immer mehr zunehmen, greife ich auch zeitweise auf Kunstfasern zurück. Die Forschung entwickelt immer mehr neue Produkte, da auch die handelsüblichen Gewebe nicht mehr über jeden Zweifel erhaben sind. So z.B. Baumwolle, deren Bewirtschaftung sehr viel Wasser verbraucht. Es ist eine herausfordernde Zeit, mit vielen neuen und spannenden Ausrichtungen.
