She received her undergraduate degrees from the University of California, Irvine, where she double majored in Biological Sciences and Psychology. She then went on to complete a Post-baccalaureate Pre-Medical program from the University of California, Berkeley. She then obtained her Doctorate degree in Podiatric Medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine.
