Barrie Uncovered was formed to fill the void on information on entertainment, places to go and to highlight special events. We also wanted to help promote all the great local talent in Barrie, bands, chefs or entertainers. So we decided we develop a site to fill this gap. We do not take ourselves seriously, we want this to be a fun site, we hope you have fun reading the blogs, listening to the podcasts and watching the videos. We are not a large corporate institution, we are just a few local Barrietonians who are trying to help find things to do and find some hidden gems. To help small businesses get more awareness of their brand out in the public domain. If you are a non-profit organization we will highlight your cause. We welcome all ideas, suggestions and want to continually improve the site, with your help and feedback we can make this a site purely about Barrie for Barrie!
