Halpern & Associates Psychological Services is a private practice of clinical psychologists who have extensive experience helping individuals, couples and families who are seeking therapy and/or assessment services. Mental health problems are not uncommon, and affect individuals from all walks of life, at all ages. We see children and adolescents, adults and seniors; sessions can be with individuals, couples and families. We also provide assessments, including psycho-educational assessments to help clarify an individual's learning style and potential,identify the presence of a learning disability or the possible reason(s) for academic struggles, and facilitate school planning. Seeking help from a psychologist to overcome emotional or relationship problems, change behaviour, reduce systems, better understand one's experiences or facilitate recovery from life's challenges, stresses and obstacles can provide a sense of mastery and contribute to psychological health.
