Joe Bersani is helping long-time sommelier and manager, Bart Pocock, spearhead a new venture just up the road from Cantine. Keeping the comfortable low-key vibe alive with the deftly executed classic dishes Cantine was known for, the move to a smaller space makes it even more like a friend has come to your house to cook in your kitchen! Taking over from neighbourhood institution, Bistro Tournesol, Bart and Joe are eager to maintain the relationship with both the patrons of Cantine and Tournesol, and inspire new ones. Bart is going back to his culinary roots and is leading the kitchen with sous-chef, Kevin Mooney; adding some of his favourite dishes and elevating the Cantine classics.
