Declan Flynn Solicitor & Registered Tax Adviser (CTA)
Declan Flynn has over 20 years’ experience as a practising solicitor having been
admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Ireland in 1992. Declan qualified as a tax adviser
in 1993 when he became an AITI member of the Institute of Taxation of Ireland.
After qualification as a solicitor & tax adviser, Declan worked for Murray Sweeney
Solicitors, a commercial legal firm based in Limerick, and for The International
Department of the Swedish National Tax Board in Stockholm. Subsequently, Declan
joined Bank of America in Dublin as a compliance/legal officer.
In 1996 Declan established Flynn Solicitors which provides general legal services to
both private and corporate clients.

Mary Scanlon Litigation Solicitor & Accredited Mediator
Mary Scanlon has been training and working as a solicitor since 2006 with a particular
interest in litigation work.
Mary qualified as a solicitor with Woulfe Murphy Solicitors based in Limerick advising
both private and corporate clients on all types of contentious and non-contentious
legal matters. In 2012 Mary qualified as a mediator and is accredited to the
International Mediation Institute.
Mary joined Flynn Solicitors as a litigation solicitor in 2013. Mary manages a variety
of cases including personal injury claims, family law cases, employment disputes,
medical/dental negligence claims, debt collection claims etc., on behalf of our
diverse range of clients.
