Step Up is a New Zealand company operating in Christchurch and outlying areas.Established in 2006, we provide quality in- home learning for students from years 1 – 13, who are not reaching their full learning potential. Research has shown that, in the average classroom, students may get at most only two to three minutes of individual attention a day.Some students require more time to process concepts and need more teacher feedback to learn efficiently. If these needs are not met, these students often become apathetic towards school. A lack of confidence and under-achievement may result. Christchurch teacher Ralph Murray formed Step Up with these needs in mind.
