Going Away on Holiday? Don't Leave Your Precious Alone and Allow Them To Fret! An empty house is easily interpreted as abandonment, and from there it is all downhill...Bring them to a caring cattery. Catteries are good for cats. It teaches them to socialise. At catteries, cats don't fight, they know the rules. Why This Cattery?Edenglade Boarding Cattery has been around for 30-years and is run by Bev + Head Cat Giuseppe. Bev absolutely adores cats, loves taking care of them and has plenty of know how. She also speaks Cat Language. Giuseppe will greet you as you come out of your vehicle, and lead you to reception (a unique individual, he has a ritual of leaving half his dinner for a local hedgehog family). Our Facilities...Edenglade consists of 3 buildings used to separate cats according to age:? Smallish kittens from 8weeks to 18-mths to 2-yrs (depending on size) are kept together and have their own building.? A fairly large cattery is for more mature cats from 2-12 yrs.? And finally we have a Geriatric unit for 13-24 yrs (we have several over 20-years old)On top of this, we have an isolation unit. Our Beliefs...We are not all stainless steel and glass - rather we are very homely, and work on 3 principles:? Keep your cats warm + comfy. ? Feed them well. ? Love them. Our cats are not caged except for at night in winter as it is just too cold. And we have big runs so they are free to roam about during the day. At the same time they are not locked out of their cages during the day. Please Note: We DO NOT communally feed cats to avoid cross infection, and so we can monitor whether the cats are eating properly or not.Biscuits in the morning, and wet food and biscuits at night. For meals, we try to feed the cats the same things they get at home to help them get used to the place. All cats MUST be vaccinated. When you ring to book, I will always ask if your cat vaccinated for cat flu. We have a Vet on call. For a Cat Holiday Day Camp with plenty of TLC, get in touch with Bev at Edenglade Boarding Cattery. She will take great care of you and your feline family members!
