Viking Roofspec is a locally owned and operated roofing supplier. We offer a range of innovative roofing solutions for residential homes, historical and commercial buildings in New Zealand and the South Pacific. Skellerup Roofing and Waterproofing opened its doors for business in 1967, manufacturing Butylclad waterproofing membrane at its Christchurch plant. From our longstanding history in the market, Viking Roofspec has become one of the most respected roofing and waterproofing suppliers in the country; focused on ensuring the right solution is installed on our customers’ buildings. Viking Roofspec places significant importance on our reputation, so working ethically and with integrity is fundamental to the ongoing success of the business. Viking Roofspec has worked with a number of well recognised businesses and government departments such as Fonterra, Ryman Healthcare, Courier Post, Fisher & Paykel, Foodstuffs, Progressive Enterprises, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Corrections, Ministry of Education, Sheraton Resorts and Intercontinental Hotels (Fiji), to name just a few. Each project has had roofing systems successfully installed by one of our Viking Licensed Applicators. Many of the architects, constructors and/or procurement managers of these organisations have since built on-going relationships with Viking Roofspec based on the painless process they experienced and substantial warranties they now have. Having kept New Zealand and South Pacific folk dry for 4 decades, we are now a part of the Tiri Group (and branded as “Viking Roofspec”). The Tiri Group is comprised of a diverse group of manufacturing and distribution businesses which are owned and operated in New Zealand.
