Frontier Working & Development Consulting Pvt. Ltd (FWD), is a multidisciplinary consulting firms of Pakistan and was established in 1983 and is a full service Engineering and Program Management firm, headquarter in Peshawar with a diversity of disciplines and expertise in multiple services. FWD has successfully completed projects of Schools, Colleges, Residential Buildings, Heavy Industries, Water Supply & Sewerage, Hospitals, Town Planning, Flood Control, Topographical Surveys, as well as Electrical and Mechanical Installation and HVAC Projects in Pakistan. FWD has also carried out the projects of Buildings in UAE.
FWD has in-house computer capability (210 Personal Computers, color printers, plotter and color scanners) and necessary software for various designs works e.g. MX Road, Eagle Point Packages (RoadCalc, Surface Modeling, SDR Mapping and Design, Storm Sewers and Sanitary Sewers Design, etc.), AutoCAD and MicroStation. Moreover, EA has also relevant software packages for analysis and design of water supply (WaterCAD). FWD has also acquired GIS software like ARC-INFO and AutoCAD Map.
FWD has complete facility available for image processing of satellite images, and for developing a map of 1:25,000 or on any scale by utilizing sophisticated software ER Mapper developed by Australian firm Earth Resource Mapping.
FWD has very strong survey team equipped with modern electronic equipment and well trained and experienced surveyors, the preliminary and final surveys of all the road projects designed by FWD have been done by our own survey team. FWD have EDM, Total Station, GPS and other modern survey equipment.
For horizontal and vertical control FWD uses Trimble Global Positioning System through which coordinates for longitude and latitude are obtained by the help of satellite and further processing is done using a survey package called GP Survey by which latitude and longitude is converted to Survey of Pakistan coordinates.
The team of Engineers / other specialists available with us to undertake the proposed task is composed of highly qualified, skilled and experienced personnel in their fields of assignment. They shall undertake the work based on the latest techniques and sound engineering practices.
