Korea Petroleum Industrial Co.,Ltd is a Korea-based company engaged in the the provision of chemical and petroleum chemical products. The Company operates its business under two segments: manufacture and distribution. Its manufacture segment produces asphalt products, which are applied in construction and civil engineering areas; solvents, which are used in paints, tires, rubber, as well as dyeing and medicine manufacturing industry, and mortar products, which are used in construction and engineering industry. Its distribution segment sells asphalts, gasoline, kerosene and light oil, among others. It also provides sports goods. As of December 31, 2011, the Company had 10 subsidiaries and affiliated companies.
