Dr. Uriel Pont is a caring and experienced physician with nearly 20 years of practice. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Puerto Rico – Mayaguez and his medical degree from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. After completing the Fifth Pathway Program at New York Medical College, he finished his residency at San Juan City Hospital. His love for medicine began early, inspired by his parents, who encouraged his curiosity with books and a microscope. Having once been a patient himself, he understands the importance of feeling heard, cared for, and respected—and works to offer that same level of care to others. Dr. Pont believes in creating strong, trusting relationships with his patients and their families. He enjoys helping them take small, meaningful steps toward better health. In his free time, he enjoys surfing, baking bread from scratch, spending time with his children, and practicing functional movement. He brings this same focus into his care by encouraging patients to explore simple ways to move with more ease and strength, helping them age with confidence and grace. Through consistent guidance and supportive care, he helps each person take steady steps toward a healthier, more active life.
