Bob Hill joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in June 1999, following a 25-year career in the United States Air Force. There, he commanded two strategic missile squadrons and an operations group, and he served at the Pentagon, where he performed joint staff duties. He attained the rank of colonel.
A graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, Wichita State University with a Master of Arts degree in Political Science, Central Michigan University with a Master of Arts degree in Business and the National War College, Bob holds Series 6, 63, 65 and 26 securities licenses plus state life and health insurance licenses in Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C.

Bob regularly hosts Lunch and Learn presentations at federal agencies, and he enjoys helping federal employees integrate their benefits into comprehensive financial plans to pursue their financial goals. The former president of the Northern Virginia Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Bob is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, the University of Missouri Alumni Association, the Arlington Chamber of Commerce and GAMA International.
