Connie has trained with world-renowned psychologist Dr. Albert Ellis, creator of REBT (rational emotive behavior therapy) and has studied Virginia Satir's STST (Satir transformation systemic therapy) method, which focuses on helping people in raising their self-esteem, improving relationships and communication by addressing a person's actions, emotions, and perceptions as they relate to a persons dynamic. Connie also is professionally trained and certified in EMDR therapy (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy). Connie strongly believes in trauma therapy, as well as the efficiency of EMDR therapy and uses this extensively in her practice. Connie's passion to help runs deep within her and her energy comes from working with people to find their way to healing. Connie's desire to assist anyone who walks through her doors, truly shines a bright light in the dark world of depression, trauma, anxiety, chronic illness, and substance abuse.
