In 1996, driving over the grapevine from Los Angeles Bishop Eliodoro and his wife, Connie, and three children, Sarah, Sonny, and Vanesa, moved to Bakersfield. With nothing but faith in God, they began to pioneer their 4th Church. It was not too long before they started to see God's mighty hand upon the ministry. They went from the cell group in their living room to the house patio, to a small building on Chester and 3rd St, to a larger facility on Bernard Street, all within six months. A year later, they moved to the old Pic-In-Save building on 34th St. As the church continued to grow, in August 1999, Tehillah moved to University and Mt. Vernon. As a church we witnessed plenty of miracles in those three years. Today we have two full-grown churches: a Spanish speaking congregation and an English speaking congregation. We have also planted a church in the Philippines , we thank God for his grace and mercy. The word tells us not to despise the days of small beginnings. We believe we are barely scratching the surface of what God wants to do here in Bakersfield, this is our mission field, and the best is yet to come! The TWC network has 28 locations, spanning from Canada, Mexico, the Philippines & the United States.
