Joseph Anaya, M.D., M.B. A., is a vitreoretinal surgeon and the inaugural Ira and Nancy Horowitz Rising Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins Medicine. He also serves as assistant medical director in the Office of Johns Hopkins Physicians. After completing his undergraduate studies in chemistry at Princeton University, he earned Doctor of Medicine and Master of Business Administration degrees at Harvard University. Dr. Anaya completed an ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital and a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at Beth Israel Lahey Health.
