Alexa-Jade Simeron

Alexa-Jade Simeron, MD is a member of Summit Health's Internal Medicine team. Dr. Simeron is an outpatient general internist/primary care physician who guides patients in general wellness and preventative medicine. She also treats patients for a variety of medical conditions, including chronic illness and has special interest in diabetes and hypertension. “My approach to care is focused on patient education and shared decision making,” says Dr. Simeron. “It’s my responsibility to explain the data and develop a treatment plan with each patient’s input to ensure the best health outcome,” she adds.
As a child, Dr. Simeron was inspired by her mom, who is a nurse, and she knew by age five that she wanted to follow in her footsteps and care for the sick. Now, as a doctor, she is able to experience firsthand the joy that comes from establishing long-lasting relationships with patients.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Simeron enjoys spending time with family, traveling, cooking, and arts and crafts.
