About Us
Robel Dabandan, NP, is an accomplished nurse practitioner currently providing care at RTD NP Healthcare Services in Bethesda, Maryland. He helps his patients manage a diverse array of diseases and health concerns using a holistic approach. With more than a decade of experience, Robel dedicates plenty of time to each patient and only accepts 10 appointments a day.
Robel attended the University of Santo Tomas College of Nursing in Manila, Philippines, for his undergraduate education. After finishing his bachelor’s degree, he moved to Washington, DC, to attend George Washington School of Nursing for his master’s degree in adult-gerontology primary care. He then attended Yale School of Management in New Haven, Connecticut, to earn his healthcare management certificate.
Robel’s drive goes beyond his education. He has numerous certifications, including credentials from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board, the Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists, and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. He’s also a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists, the American Society of Perianesthesia Nurses, and the Society for Perioperative Assessment and Quality Improvement.
Throughout his career, Robel has contributed to clinical research and has contributed his expertise to many medical settings. In his current role at RTD NP Healthcare Services, Robel frequently sees patients for abdominal pain, respiratory issues, heart disease, annual exams, medical marijuana, and LGBTQIA+ -friendly STD treatment.
