Yonatan and Carmen, an immigrant couple arriving in Boston between 1992 and 1994 from the Dominican Republic. Parents of five children with humble beginnings in the Egleston Square and Dorchester neighborhoods. Their great love and passion for food led them to eventually quit their jobs after many years and open up their own restaurant in 2020. In the midst and uncertainties surrounded by the virus, COVID-19. Yonatan and Carmen followed their heart along with their desire and passion to showcase the distinctive flavors and dishes of the authentic Dominican cuisine. Having always love to travel and visit local restaurants around the world, Carmen and Yonatan wanted to create a bright and welcoming space to delight their guests with a fusion of dishes that brings out all the flavors from the Dominican culture not often found within local Dominican Restaurants in the Boston area.
