About

We are a family owned and operated farm in the southwest corner of Arkansas. We moved here in 2002 from Montezuma, Kansas, where we began to try our abilities to grow produce. Farming is our passion, just like it was for Dad and Grandpa! We started growing sweet corn in the late 90’s. As we had a little extra each year we gave a little to friends and family. Before long we were planting enough to take to farmers markets. During those first years, many enjoyable, but tiring hours were spent picking corn with only two hands, a strong back, and five gallon buckets! But as the corn patch got bigger, we needed to come up with something a little quicker! Getting a loader tractor out in the field meant no more heavy buckets to carry around. Eventually we outgrew that method and bought a one-row corn picker that we could pull through the field with a small tractor. But now we were faced with the challenge of sorting the ears of corn from all the stalks and leaves the picker also brings in. So we put our engineering skills to the test and built a sorting table. With hydrostats from an old lawn mower, parts from an old irrigation sprinkler, plenty of angle iron and a coat of yellow paint and we had the problem solved!

Even though we built our business up on our sweetcorn, our passion for growing things has led us to try many different kinds of produce. So take a look around at what we have, then let us take the work out of gardening for you, and supply you with the fresh taste of summer, picked fresh, straight out of our big garden!
