Yamell Martin Perez is board-certified family nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Prior to moving to the United States, she was a family physician in Cuba. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Sacred Heart in Puerto Rico and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Miami Regional University. She was inspired to become a provider by her passion for helping others and making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. Yamell takes a holistic, individualized approach to patient care, emphasizing attentive listening, clear education, and proactive prevention. She works closely with patients to help them stay informed and engaged in their health, building strong relationships through empathy, patience, and open communication. She focuses on prevention, including early detection, lifestyle guidance, and personalized strategies to support each patient’s well-being.
