My passion for healthcare and helping others began in high school, which led me to pursue nursing. However, after taking an introductory nutrition course, I realized my true calling and transferred to the dietetics program. I am a firm believer that proper nutrition is a cornerstone of overall health and plays a vital role in preventing many chronic conditions. My areas of special interest include supporting healthy relationships with food and body, diabetes management, women’s health, and sports nutrition. My philosophy regarding patient care is to meet patients where they are and support them in taking small steps to achieve significant changes in their health. I enjoy teaching patients how to incorporate their favorite foods in a healthy way and brainstorming practical strategies to fit these changes into their busy lives. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and exploring new culinary experiences. Additionally, I am passionate about horseback riding and caring for my animals.
