While there were hurdles that she encountered throughout she never used diabetes as an excuse & was inspired to create this business after learning that the suicide rate was so astonishingly high with Type One Diabetic Teens. After competing in Volleyball, Basketball, Track and Field, Cross Country, Tennis, Horseback Riding, Ballet, Gymnastics, and a few other various sport categories has a full perspective on the struggles of holding on to insulin pumps while participating in high intensity athletic endeavours. Never used diabetes as an excuse... With the help of her artificial pancreas system, service dog Knoxx, and Daughter Ellie, Danae works every day to not be defined by her disease
Arqueis brings a new energy and enthusiasm to the company, and we plan to ride that vibe into 2021. He has built his career around being a pillar in the disabled community through his work as an AFL (Assistant Family Living Associate) to maximize and normalize life for people who have no other way of living a quality lifestyle). He grew up playing AAU basketball (point-guard) and football (tight-end), and loves working with kids and personal training in his free time.
