The ownership and caring staff are hands-on. With the capacity for 16 residents in private suites, everyone gets to know each other through daily programming orchestrated by our Activities Coordinator such as music, games, bingo, arts and crafts.
To make our residents’ lives easier, we offer assistance with medications, bathing and grooming, meals, laundry and housekeeping, as well as healthcare monitoring. Since Penny has more than 30 years of nursing experience and triage's any medical-related issues and coordinates care with our residents’ personal physicians. We offer healthcare providers, such as a podiatrist, medical physician, home care services and hospice to come into our facility to treat our residents.
We arrange for local transportation, too, whether that means going on a little field trip, out to lunch or making sure mom or dad gets to their doctor appointments.
Our caring staff has had years of experience working with seniors before coming to Amelia Grace and are all certified in First Aid and CPR. They’ve each had a TB test and have undergone FBI and BCI background checks. We are licensed by the state to assist our residents in taking their medications.
Though we are a private-pay senior living facility, we make sure eligible veterans and their spouses receive their pension benefits.
