The Coeur d'Alene Idaho Temple was announced in October 2024, by President Russell M. Nelson joining 10 other temples in the state. The temple is currently in the planning and approval phase. A groundbreaking date has not yet been announced. Plans call for a single-story temple of approximately 30,000 square feet, with a meetinghouse and ancillary building also on site.
