The son of an Air Force oral surgeon, Dr. Morgan says a long-felt calling eventually led him into the medical field. While an undergraduate at Texas A&M, Dr. Morgan was a member of the Corps of Cadets and played in the Fightin Texas Aggie Band, the Aggieland Orchestra and swing band Dukes of Aggieland. From there, he received his Master s of Public Health degree in Disease Control from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where he was also a Ph.D. candidate. Opting instead, to pursue a medical degree, Dr. Morgan returned to Aggieland where he graduated medical school in 1996 and joined Dr. John Hall in his family practice in 1999. His practice moved to the CHI St. Joseph Health South College Station campus in 2010. Dr. Morgan teaches Physical Diagnosis at TAMU Medical School, serves on the Brazos County Health Department Board of Directors and is the team doctor for the A&M Consolidated High School football team. He enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children and is an avid movie buff, reader and sports fan.
