Gregory Sfakianos, MD is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and has been practicing in Columbus, GA since 2012. He graduated from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 2005 then completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UAB. A fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology was then finished at Duke University Medical Center in 2012. He is the first gynecologic oncologist in the Chattahoochee Valley to be trained in robotic surgical techniques. When necessary a more radical approach is taken that involves extensive debulking of cancer and reconstruction of pelvic organs and structures, including the intestines, urinary system, and lymph nodes. Dr. Sfakianos works with his team at the John B. Amos Cancer Center specializing in gynecologic cancer treatments.
