Pastor Timothy Hume and his wife Cindy joined us on June 1, 1988. Pastor Tim used to work as the Associate Pastor from 1978-1984 with a focus on Youth Ministries. In 1974, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Southeastern University. He then went on to attend the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, where he graduated with a Master of Arts in 1975. Pastor Tim was ordained with the General Council of the Assemblies of God in 1976 and is currently working on further education.
Cindy Hume graduated from Oral Roberts University in 1978 and possesses a Master's degree from Wright State University, from which she also earned her principleship. She was the first teacher at East Dayton Christian School, and has also served as a supervisor and principal. Currently, she leads the growth of the school as students transition into high school, and also works as a co-administrator. At church, Cindy leads the music department as the Praise and Worship leader.
