Dr. Shi is originally from central New Jersey. He earned a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Rutgers University, followed by his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Following his education, he moved to Lexington, Kentucky to complete an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Kentucky. A passion for preventive medicine and population health has naturally guided him toward a career in primary care.“My goal is to support my patients to achieve the highest quality of life possible. By aligning each person's unique attributes to their health and wellness aims, we can optimize each person's health span.”As a primary care physician for adults, Dr. Shi enjoys making long term impacts on patient’s lives through continuity of care. He is passionate about personalized nutrition, healthy aging, mental wellness and the application of technology in healthcare. When not at work, Dr. Shi enjoys cooking, running, basketball and boardgames.
