Taste of Texas BBQ and B.M.W. Catering LLC was conceived through the meeting of two hearts. In 2000 Bruce and May discovered that they had common values, goals, and a shared passion for creating, preparing, and sharing food with others. Both Bruce and May were raised in families associated with the food industry. Bruce's parents owned and operated Barbecue restaurants in Texas and Colorado. People would travel 200 miles in Texas to be at his parent's restaurant before it opened to ensure that they had BBQ for the weekend. May's mother retired after 30 years as a Nutrition Aide Supervisor and her father retired from USDA as a Meat Grader.
