About

Nassau Foot & Ankle provides exceptional podiatric care in Nassau County from shore to shore, and everywhere in between. Our elite team of Long Island’s preeminent podiatric specialists and surgeons - Dr. Gideon Tarrash, Dr. Joseph Waterhouse, and Dr. Michael Klein - have joined forces to offer their patients a full suite of services and unparalleled medical experience. Dr. Waterhouse functions as the foot and ankle surgical specialist within the practice and is highly regarded by both his patients and peers alike.

We see and treat virtually every type of podiatric condition-from common foot and ankle issues, to biomechanical and structural disorders, to problems stemming from systemic diseases, to chronic pain, injuries and trauma. Our doctors share not only the passion and skills to help people live an active and pain-free life, but a philosophy that values patient education. They take whatever time is necessary to help patients understand their condition and treatment options. Patients are informed, helpful participants in their own treatment and recovery process. Surgery may be an option to treat your condition but we will explore every possible avenue to avoid surgical intervention unless it is absolutely necessary.

Our support staff is competent, courteous, and well-versed in duties from scheduling, to dealing with insurance companies, to helping support our doctors as they care for patients. Our three facilities in East Norwich, Franklin Square, and Oceanside serves the entire Nassau County area with state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging, a wide range of on-site procedures, and affiliations with several area hospitals and trauma centers.
