About Dr. Murray
After completing his undergraduate degree at Hampton University, Dr. Murray went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery, as well as a certificate in advanced education in general dentistry, from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine/Medical College of Virginia. He is certified to practice CEREC CAD-CAM dentistry, straight wire orthodontics, and InvisalignⓇ using the iTeroⓇ intraoral scanner.
With more than 20 years of experience in the field, Dr. Murray maintains his membership with the National Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the American Orthodontic Society. He has been recognized as a Top Patient’s Choice and selected for Who’s Who of Dentistry.
Dr. Murray also maintains an army rank of officer in the United States Army National Guard and serves as the State Dental Officer and Commander for the Delaware Army National Guard/Joint Force Headquarters. He is an active member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity and serves on the board of directors for both the Boys and Girls Club of Alexandria, Virginia, and College for Kids.
Always striving to stay on the cutting edge of dental science and techniques, Dr. Murray currently participates in a cosmetic dentistry fellowship at the Las Vegas Institute (LVI), a postgraduate dental learning institution. At LVI, he receives advanced training and experience performing some of the most innovative dental procedures available today.
