The Fayetteville Public works Commission (PWC) is a municipally owned utility providing electric, water and sanitary sewer services to the Fayetteville/Cumberland country area. PWC is an RP3 electric provider having received the highest distinction of electric reliability for national public power systems and is recognized for the highest standards of water treatment by the Partnership for Safe Drinking Water.
