My approach to care centers around treating patients as individuals. Knowledge of the disease, meaning of lab results, knowledge of available treatment and technology varies greatly – and I like to meet patients where they’re with these topics. I strive to educate patients about their medical condition(s), share decision making, and use simple terminology when speaking about the disease, lab results, and treatment options. I do not want appointments to be overwhelming.
