About Dr. Colle
Kyle Colle, DO, FACOS, is a board-certified neurosurgeon and spinal surgeon at The Spine Center at Joint Implant Surgeons of Florida. He offers his expertise and patient-centered approach to help his patients in Fort Myers, Florida.
Dr. Colle completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida, before earning his Doctor in Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He went on to pursue an internship in general surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York.
After his internship, Dr. Colle served in the United States Armed Forces as a brigade flight surgeon in Seoul, Korea. He went on to work as a general medical officer in the emergency room at Martin Army Community Hospital in Ft. Benning, Georgia.
Following his military service, Dr. Colle was accepted into a neurosurgery residency program at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System in New Hyde Park, New York. While there, he earned the position of chief resident. Dr. Colle subsequently completed a neurosurgical spine fellowship at the Barrow Neurosurgical Institute in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Colle is an active member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, the Missouri State Medical Association, and the Missouri State Neurological Association.
