Adult Day Care Center is a professional operated program designed to assist older adults who don't want or need the continuous care of a hospital or other long term facility. We offer ample social opportunities, meals, transportation, as well as support groups for caregivers. Assisted Living is offered in an apartment setting for individuals and couples with supportive staff services. The apartments include a full kitchen, ample closet space, walk in showers, and all are handicapped accessible. Health care services are coordinated by our Registered Nurse Director. The Galena-Strauss Nursing Care Center is home to 57 residents who want and need 24 hour care by Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants. Physical exercise is important at every age and stage in life. We offer not only physical exercise programs but also various events and outings, crafts, pet therapy, board games, and other mentally challenging activities.
