Medicine was always my calling, and I never strayed from that path. Being a family physician is the job I always dreamed of. \n I don't remember this, but my mom told me that when I was younger, a family friend gave me a doctor's kit complete with a stethoscope. Apparently, I would not put that stethoscope down and would walk around our apartment trying to listen to everyone's heart. \n I'm a first-generation Ghanaian-American. I was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in nearby northern Virginia. After much prayer and consideration, I moved to Charlotte in 2023 after completing my residency. \n In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, dancing, watching movies, exploring Charlotte and traveling.
