As a graduate of the prestigious Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine Program at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, Dr. Hyon Schneider with Sports and Spine Management in Havre de Grace, Maryland, provides patients with some of the most innovative treatment options currently available. In fact, Dr. Schneider is one of the few doctors providing Botox treatment to patients with intractable migraines and spasticity in the greater Baltimore and Harford County area.
After completing medical school in New York, Dr. Schneider underwent fellowship training, excelling among her peers by tackling two programs at once: Sports Medicine and Interventional Spine. She has authored multiple papers for industry journals and has written book chapters on the topics of rehabilitation medicine and pain management plus she has research experience in a multi-center clinical trial for platelet-rich plasma treatments.
Dr. Schneider believes compassion along with focused attention is the key to successful patient outcomes. She is fluent in Spanish and Korean, as well as English, so she is able to manage a diverse patient base. When not helping others, Dr. Schneider spends time with her family and enjoying her favorite hobby, playing the piano.
