Atlantic Medical Group PC (AMG) is a gastroenterology clinic serving East and Coastal Carolina and surrounding communities. Our seasoned gastroenterologists and healthcare providers specialize in the evaluation and management of a variety of gastrointestinal disorders (including but are not limited to Crohn’s disease, hemorrhoids, and acid reflux/GERD) and clinical research in gastroenterology and hepatology. Areas of specialty include disorders of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine and colon, as well as a variety of liver and pancreas disorders. We are located in Kinston and Jacksonville, NC to serve you better, Monday through Friday.
Among the endoscopic procedures we offer include colonoscopy/colon cancer screenings, and upper endoscopy examinations, flexible sigmoidoscopies, gastrostomy tube placement, esophageal manometery, impedance and bravo capsule studies as well small bowel capsule study and liver biopsies. These procedures are performed on an outpatient basis at our newly constructed state of the art, AAAHC accredited endoscopy and surgical center located in Kinston, NC.
Additionally, a specialized procedure called ERCP (an endoscopic exam designed to examine the biliary system and provide treatment for blockages and some forms of gallstone disease) is also offered at Onslow Memorial Hospital, Lenoir Memorial Hospital and Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.
