Andrew Maloney, M.D. earned his medical degree from East Carolina University and completed residences in General Surgery at the Medical College of Virginia and Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Utah. He received his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University and is board eligible in Cardiothoracic SurgeryDr. Maloney has interests in the full breadth of thoracic surgery with a special emphasis on minimally invasive techniques and surgical robotics. Prior to joining Piedmont Thoracic Specialists Atlanta, Dr. Maloney completed a fellowship in robotic thoracic surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. In his spare time, Dr. Maloney enjoys spending time hiking and fishing and playing the guitar. Dr. Maloney is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
