Dr. Gia Mehrtens received her Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada West Indies. She completed an emergency medicine residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Mehrtens is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the Emergency Medicine Society.
