I grew up on a farm outside of Red Oak, IA and most of my family still lives in SW Iowa. I loved growing up in a small town but really now enjoy the opportunities that living in Central Iowa has given me and consider this my home. I wanted to practice family medicine because it allows for the treatment of the entire family and I have lots of variety in my day in people I see and conditions I manage. I particularly enjoy women's health and children's care. Outside of work, I am married and the mother of three children. We also have three dogs. I love to read, travel and hike.
