Dr Osmer’s desire to take care of individuals during times of need led him to his career in general surgery. “People don’t plan on having an emergency,” he stated. “Surgery is one of those unexpected detours in an individual’s life.” Dr Osmer finds it gratifying to be there to help and take care of patients in a timely manner. General surgery is especially interesting to him as he enjoys being a generalist, working with his patients through any number of healthcare issues. Dr Osmer’s family is his main focus in life, but he also enjoys woodworking in his free time. He is also a Navy veteran.
