Roger chose to work in obstetrics to help guide patients whose pregnancy journey may not go as planned. He believes it is a privilege to be present and share in the joy of a new life being brought into this world. Roger has a special interest in helping patients with pregestational diabetes, substance use disorders in pregnancy and mood disorders in pregnancy. A visit to the high-risk obstetrics office can elicit many emotions, not the least of which is anxiety. When working with patients that have complicated pregnancies, I try to educate in a way that best suits their needs. I enjoy meeting people where they are and enhancing their understanding which will hopefully decrease anxiety and fear of the unknown.
