I was inspired to become a Massage Therapist because of the great experience I had with massage when, in 1996, I was injured massage was my greatest helper. When given the opportunity to train as a massage therapist, I searched out the best school I could find. It turned out that one of the top 10 schools in the country was in my town, Seattle. The Brian Utting School of Massage gave me a great training in areas beyond just anatomy; we were required to learn something about pathology, psychology, postural and gate analysis and even did cadaver dissection, etc. That training has been added to regularly through continuing education classes. I find that all of my training is used as I work with clients and I'm grateful to have had it.
